In addition to cuddly, adorable babies, I had several engagement/couple’s sessions over the past several weeks.

Heidi & Mike, are my SIL and soon-to-be BIL, and you might remember them from a couple’s shoot I did with them last summer.  They are getting married in October and I’m super excited to shoot their wedding….it’s going to be awesome!

Tracey & Chad are a fun, beautiful couple who are getting married downtown this July, and I am also super excited to shoot their wedding…..only a few more weeks!!!

Aaron & Kristen are some sweet friends of my husband and I from college.  Kristen just finished her masters and Aaron is a warrant officer in the USAF and was just home for a little R&R from Afghanistan so he could be home for her graduation.  So glad they stopped by for a photo session while he was home!

Tonight I got to do an impromptu, just-for-fun, 4th of July couples session with my sister-in-law, Heidi, and her boyfriend, Mike.   They are just so adorable and are both just so natural in front of the lens which made  them a ton of fun to shoot!  We found an abandoned cement factory less than a mile away from my in-laws’ house and I couldn’t have wished for a better location as nothing can improve upon a man-made backdrop better than the elements and the natural passage of time.  So thank you Heidi and Mike for indulging me and for just helping make  it a relaxed shoot where I could just play around and have fun!  Just a warning, the preview is big.   Maybe it’s just ’cause it’s family and I love ‘em, but I had a hard time narrowing it down for the blog….so here are some of my favorite photos from their session!
