Met Jennifer & Ryan at Kennekuk County Park near Danville this evening for their engagement session, which is BEAUTIFUL….but unfortunately lacks decent cell service and it’s huge(as I inconveniently found out). The park has a whole historic town they built mostly with relocated buildings, although there are some original buildings as well….anyway, it was such a cool place to shoot! My favorite location in this whole place was a train car which you’ll see some of down below. So cool….anyway, thanks again to you both and here are some of my favorites:

Hey ya’ll!  Been out of town since last week for a visit with the family to celebrate my daughter, Squirt’s (no that’s not her real name lol), 2nd birthday, and just got back late last night.  I’ll post some party photos later!  I also got a chance to catch up on a few things for the business on my break, so it was nice to get away for a few days and recoup because it’s been a crazy summer.  Anyway, I’ll be catching up on emails and phone calls today and tomorrow, so don’t worry I’ll get back to you if you haven’t heard from me yet!

These are just a few snaps from a mini shoot that my Mom and I did with my baby sister….who’s not quite so baby-ish anymore as you can see (and my dad is loathe to admit).  However, Lauri would like to take this opportunity to note that she is NOT getting married at this time, nor is she engaged…she was just modeling my wedding dress so that my mom and I could play around with some posing ideas.  Thanks again babe for your patience….you are a beautiful model and you look absolutely fabulous, dahhhling….
